Review of Goosebumps (2015) by Jingerjake — 22 Feb 2016
Goosebumps crams too many monsters into too short of a runtime to make the best of the beloved book series and does so without leaving a single goosbump on even the youngest viewer's forearm. That being said, the story is full of good fun that nails nearly every scene perfectly for the target audience in which the books are aimed.
I, being 21 years old, may have only found the film slightly enjoyable here and there, but I'm aware I'm not the target audience. In conclusion, Goosebumps doesn't get it all right and doesn't quite leave enough for us outside the target audience, but for those between the ages of four and fifteen this is a damn good attempt.
