Review of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (2018) by Adrien B — 26 Oct 2018
The sequel to the original Goosebumps that was probably a good addition to the series except for some minor setbacks. It doesn't really connect to the first one at all except both have Jack Black but this time, Jack Black ain't even in this hardly at all.
He probably only gets 10 minutes of screen time. However, that didn't stop it from being good. The 2 guys and girl go on a quest with the war against the puppet doll Slappy as he wrecks havoc around town.
There are some cheesy battles scenes and slapstick action to keep you entertained throughout the film. This movie did not feel long at all even though it was over an hour and 30 minutes. Shows to say that it can be pretty good.
Only problem was that it doesn't do anything that hasn't been done with family films. A good Halloween movie for the kids.
