Review of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (2018) by Hrant B — 12 Oct 2018
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween was just as enjoyable as the first movie. Much like Jumanji the sequel, instead of releasing the monsters and demons the kids find R. L. Stine's long lost first book that was never completed.
Stine's character was reprised by Jack Black who was not accredited in the movie. His book helps vanquish the monsters by capturing all the Halloween creatures. The script was very upbeat, enjoyable and smooth, the storylines ran parallel and never missed a beat.
Plus having Ken Jeong as the neighbor who is crazy about crafting gave the movie a comedic edge. It was definitely worth watching.
