Review of Goon (2012) by Stephen S — 29 Aug 2012
Nowhere near as funny or irreverent as Slap Shot, but a good hockey movie. A strong role for Seann William Scott, playing the strong, dim-witted, yet vulnerable Doug Glatt. Also starring Liev Schreiber as Ross Rhea, the aging hockey pugilist trying to make his one last mark before he retires from the game.
Good movie. Worth a watch.
