Review of Goon (2012) by John N — 19 Aug 2013
"A film about honor, love and loyalty that transcends its subject matter and can connect to a larger audience if they give it a chance." William Scott and Schreiber are excellent, Baruchel is annoying.
Thoroughly Canadian, complete with cameos by two of the Trailer Park Boys. What's with movies and dialog during incredibly loud scenes? You can't talk on a helicopter, Eva would be texting at the club, and there's no way you could hear one person without a megaphone over a roaring crowd.
I think the most surprising thing about the movie "Goon" is that there isn't one track by Plies!
