Review of Goon (2012) by Tristan P — 19 Feb 2014

Entertaining hockey comedy, if there is such a genre, this coming from one who neither a hockey or sports movie fan. What I loved about this one was the way it made comedy out of the brutality of hockey, while juxtaposing the violent scenes in slow mo with the classical music I love that is usually used as a serious technique in films like The Godfather, making them mock epic heroic.
