Review of Goon (2012) by Daniel B — 13 Jul 2012

Had some decent laughs to it, but Goon is all about a few moments. The movie itself is quite sad in a lot of ways, and it in the end doesn't really deliver on either the damatic or comedic front. It starts out with a lot of potential and even looks to be on par with the Slap Shot series but that quickly disaovles into a work not sure of what it's trying to accomplish.

By the end you end up feeling a little confused but not worked up to the point of caring about whatis tet another forgettable comedy. To be brief, the movie's potential is not reached even at itshalf way point altough hockeyenthusiats might end up enjoying it regardless.
