Review of Goon (2012) by Dakota L — 10 Aug 2014

I honestly think this is better than Slapshot, which is the gold standard of hockey movies. The fight scenes range from the pathetic to the hilarious to epic. Most of the characters will make you laugh hysterically at least once.

The comment this movie makes about enforcers and the hockey mentality goes way deeper than you'd expect out of such a funny and violent movie and comes out crystal clear. If you like hockey, watch it.

If you don't then start to like hockey, then watch this.
