Review of Goodnight Mommy (2015) by Nün S — 10 Mar 2016

This movie was absolute garbage. Just the same old recycled "twist" we see in nearly every single modern day horror film. The film looks great, and the acting is above average, but the plot is just atrocious. Most of the film is painfully slow, yet manages to build some suspense. However, there is no payoff, no mind bending plot twist. It's quite predictable (it took me all of five minutes to know exactly how the film ended), and it fails to achieve its goal of being a true psychological thriller.

In conclusion, skip it. You have already seen it before.
