Review of GoodFellas (1990) by Bob_Loblaw — 25 Apr 2014
Martin Scorsese's last classic film (The Departed was borderline, and for me it was on the wrong side of that border) gives an incredibly realistic depiction of life in the mafia. Surpassed only by the first two Godfather films in terms of crime films, but this is more re-watchable and more entertaining.
Joe Pesci gives one of the greatest supporting performances of all time. Should have been the third oscar for Martin Scorsese (with Taxi Driver and Raging Bull).
