Review of GoodFellas (1990) by Shane D — 05 May 2013
A classic. I might have watched this 100 times without really trying to as it is guaranteed, if this film is on TV, I'll stumble on to it and not be able to resist sitting down and settling in. Obviously Liotta's performance of his career and perhaps the most tolerable Pesci has ever been.
Nice to see De Niro not overdoing it in a subtle yet aggressive supporting role. It's a genuinely brilliant film, perhaps the best gangster film there is.
