Review of GoodFellas (1990) by Liam C — 22 Apr 2013
Scorsese at his best. One of the best, if not THE best gangster film of modern days. Brilliantly depicts the lifestyle of the italian american gangster. It breaks conventions and sticks to them at the same time therefore creating a masterpiece.
Obviously a brilliant cast. De Nero is at the top of his game as is Joe Pesci is perfect and Ray Liotta is in perhaps his most suited role to date.
