An epic, crime film from Martin Scorsese that stands with "The Godfather" as one of the best mob movie's of all time. Scorsese's style of brutal, realistic violence and ambiance of reality surrounding mob life are the qualities that are strongest about this picture.
The complicated, interweaving lives of mobsters going from brutal acts of violence to family life are haunting and unforgettable. A classic!
