This true life ganster story highlights the glamour associated with the gangster industry while portraying a clever portrait of some colourful characters.
Ray Liotta, Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci all star in this Scorsese film and really help you believe in these characters. Pesci in particular emulated everything about his character, even if the character itself was a very annoying one.
The film mixed humour and violence (and an early, albeit small, Samuel L. Jackson role) to paint an interesting picture, and remains a classic.
