Review of GoodFellas (1990) by Quijebo A — 19 Jun 2014
Absolutely brilliant film. Superb performances all around in a compelling, *non-glorified* look at life in the mafia, putting this film far above the Godfather. Pesci earns a well-deserved Oscar, and yet it's still a tour-de-force for Ray Liotta, the part he was born to play.
Character studies galore, with unforgettable use of music.
