Proof that great acting doesn't guarantee interesting characters. That great cinematography doesn't guarantee intriguing visuals. And that plenty of quality mobster drama doesn't substitute for a story line.

Bottom line, it's never a positive thing when I'm watching a movie with my fingers crossed, just hoping that most of the characters end up dead because I hate them all.
