What is there to say about Goodfellas that hasn't already been said? This is simply quintessential Scorsese. He's crafted a fantastic crime drama that's packed with snappy dialogue, as well as stunning imagery.
The ever-famous three minute single take in particular is beautifully done. The three lead performances from Robert de Niro, Ray Liotta, and Joe Pesci are phenomenal, and rank among the best of their respective careers.
Goodfellas is a must watch that certainly deserves its place as one of the finest films ever made.
