Review of Goodbye Solo (2009) by Bryan T — 19 Apr 2009
This movie begins like a drag, you see the setting of the world and you know the character's dimensions. It's nice to see the way they explore the emotional void of the characters, the director does a decent job setting the differences that push them closer.
But once they meet the story drags in such a long way, because the characters become very flat and repetitive, their behavior lacks of motivation and the conflict turns too static.
However, the ending shows a nice character change, they evolve and it touches the heart. Not a great movie, not a bad, a little bit too long.
