Review of Goodbye Solo (2009) by Derek S — 26 May 2009
A movie so naturalisitc in its presentation you sometimes forget you're watching a movie, and that is deinitely a compliment. Maybe it's the use of non-professional actors (Red West aside) or the focus on "average" people and settings, but "Goodbye Solo" is a welcome departure from most films, Hollywood or independent.
Savane is a gifted performer who hopefully will continue to act in films.
