The movie left me feeling devastated and hurt. Maybe that was the directorâ??s plan. If art is to evoke strong emotion and stimulate discussion, then this film succeeded. Too much of a tear-jerker? The answer, I think, depends on whether or not you can identify with the characters.
If you canâ??t, then the story will at least awaken you from apathy about an issue you may not want to acknowledge.
