Review of Goodbye Solo (2009) by Ricardo N — 15 Sep 2009
It?s easy to identify with both of the characters in Goodbye Sole, one a young African(Solo) trying to find the right path to be happy and give his Mexican wife the time and lively hood she expects, and a older white man(Will) who shut himself from the world because he regrets how some parts have turned out.
The beauty of this movie is Solo?s attempt to inject some happiness in Wills life, and Will?s inability to accept friendship from strangers. Will is not a bad person, he simply made a decision he can not undo, and Solo can not and will not allow him himself to understand how a person can go through this.
Everyone should watch this movie.
