Review of Goodbye Solo (2009) by Alicia G — 24 Oct 2009

I really wanted to like this movie, especially since it had such high reviews. And I usually like more introspective dramas such as this. Truly, if it weren't for some incredible acting and a wonderful ensemble, I probably would have given this movie a 50%.

As the review says "the director, who also edits his films, keeps the story moving forward while allowing it to breathe." Well, I think it breathes a little too much for me; at the end of the movie, I was left with too many unanswered questions.

I suppose some people like to formulate their own answers but me? I like to have at least some of those loose ends tied up.
