Review of Goodbye Solo (2009) by John H — 09 Dec 2009
An interesting movie that held my attention the entire time. It revolves around an African American taxi driver with a personality that is infectious and annoying at the same time and his extreme opposite not only in personality but in place in life, status etc - both in different places in life - both with different perspectives on their situation.
I found the taxi driver's simplistic view on life and value on human life refreshing and heart warming. The story itself is simple however worth seeing and thought provoking.
