Review of Goodbye Solo (2009) by Reza M — 11 Aug 2010

A film with excellent acting but too slice-of-life for me to really enjoy. The two lead actors are excellent in this film. Solo is so good at trying to make everyone happy he ends up hurting himself, and William is so quiet that although he doesn't want any attention his too intriguing to avoid.

All this works for most of the film, but near the end I found myself unsure on the choice Solo was making and didn't find the final shots as beautiful as I think the director wanted it to be.
