Review of Good Will Hunting (1997) by Nick P — 02 Jul 2013
Predictable, but well-intetnioned, Good Will Hunting follows the story of Will Hunting, a rebellious young janitor who has a photographic memory and hangs out with his friends. Then, he meets MIT professor Lambeau, who admires his genius and after getting into trouble with the law, Lambeau sends him to therapist Sean McGuire.
Now, Will is forced to confront the dark secrets of his past and must defeat them in the future. Personally, I thought this movie was very well-made and the performances of Matt Damon and Robin Williams steal the entire show.
Although it has quirky flaws and amounts of fixing to do, Good Will Hunting is nonetheless rich and emotionally powerful.
