I was in love with this movie when it first came out and I am glad it still holds up! Even though this was a break through for Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, and most of the pr buzz was around them, Gus Van Sant deserves a lot of credit for guiding this project into what it turned out to be.
Without his touchy it could have gone the other way.
