Review of Good Vibrations (2012) by Effie S — 10 Dec 2013
For someone to likes punk music, admires John Peel and has roots which lead back to Belfast there was always going to be something to enjoy in here. This chronicle of Terri Hooley's impact on the Belfast punk scene is carried out in a genuinely witty and keen-hearted manner.
It doesn't shy away from references to the 'troubles' but that is really just the context for an ultimately uplifting film.
