Review of Good Time (2017) by Tyler A — 24 Aug 2017
Spectacular. Ever since I saw Robert Pattinson in 'The Rover', my mind no longer type-casted Robert Pattinson as that emotionless vampire from the Twilight Series. However, I guess vampires are supposed to have no heart, so he may have nailed that as well.
This is also one of those rare moments where the movie was even better than the masterly crafted trailer. After being pulled deeply into the trailer, there was a bit of a fear that I may be over-hyping this 'Good Time', whether this beautiful trailer could match the actual product.
This movie begins with a bang and doesn't let up. I believe this was done intentionally as well with what felt like the longest beginning of all time. I only continuously type 'beginning' because this movie manages to pack in more excitement during it's opening credits scene than most movies that dub themselves as 'action' movies.
See this movie. I will Venmo you your ticket price if you aren't fully satisfied.
I will likely write a more lengthy review after a second watch.
