Review of Good Time (2017) by Dwight W — 29 Aug 2017
It seemed to start with the 2nd Bourne movie where the Director came to the incorrect conclusion that action scenes would be more interesting to watching if the fucking camera was moving as well and employed Shakes the Clown to do the filming.
Between that and what seems to be a new discovery of photographic basics regarding the rule-of-thirds and filling the frame some movies have become almost unwatchable. Take a constantly shaking camera and have it take tight shots up so close on a persons face that you can count the pores, have it moving during action shots so that you can't tell what the fuck is happening, and add to that the worse piece of shit music score I've ever heard--so loud and annoying that it actually covers some of the dialogue--and you've got the movie Good Time.
Honestly, I couldn't tell whether the movie was good or bad because the filming and music score were so in the way and irritating that I just wanted to kill myself.
