Good Time is a film that bends and bends and bends but never breaks. With all of the picture's finger prodding, pushing boundaries and devil may care attitude regarding how far the filmmakers can physically push the plot; the film never feels far fetched.

Good Time is a true piece of art that allows itself to be as ambiguous as it is utterly visceral. Robert Pattinson may not only have given the best leading male performance of the year but also the best performance of his career.

Pattinson's performance is flawless from the second he appears on screen as Connie Nikas. From the untouched backstory to his seemingly pitch black morals; he is the anti-hero scumbag a film like this truly deserves.

The multitalented Safdie brothers have crafted a truly original and well honed subversion of the heist thriller that shocks you to the core while at the same time is intensely watchable that leaves you begging for more.

The litmus test nature of the film as well plays with the audience's own expectations and morals as you question yourself as to what you would do in the same situation and how you personally feel about the opposing lifestyles depicted on screen.

The extreme close up cinematography is impeccable too and gets under your skin heightening every other facet of the film while the score is a roaring synth blast of electric cacophony which makes the score for Drive seem like twee pop.

Good Time has a very limited run but if it is playing anywhere near you, I honestly couldn't recommend the film enough. Good Time is a great time for everyone except for the people featured in the film.
