Review of Good Time (2017) by Jaime L — 23 Dec 2017
With a palette reminiscent of Soderbergh, and a script leaning heavily on Tarantino, and a handful of other creative sources, GOOD TIME fails to be original, but everything is honed, crafted, polished.
And it has some things to say like a Loach or Leigh film. Pattinson IS good but he irritates me the way Colin Farrell does: not so much hammy as acutely aware that he is ACTING.
