Review of Good Time (2017) by Jeff P — 27 Jan 2018
It's a good adrenaline rush but you have to get past the absolutely unrealistic, naive, trusting way that New Yorkers are portrayed in regard to strangers: every lie Connie gives to get into a hospital or to get a New Yorker to let him and Nick stay at her apartment with her 16-year-old daughter ALONE, dye his hair (!), and take her car.
Not to mention how easy it is to break into a closed Adventureland amusement park, with one security guard whom Connie beats up! The cops are portrayed as incompetent all through. Very unrealistic. If all you want is an adrenaline rush, and can ignore all the logical inconsistencies and fakery, then this movie might be for you.
