Review of Good Time (2017) by Leslie D — 24 Aug 2017
This is a cinematic masterpiece. It grabs you from the start and never lets go. Robert Pattinson was amazing and for those who haven't given him credit as a worthy, charismatic actor will change their minds 5 minutes into the film.
Incredible cinematography, intense moments hit you left and right where you have no idea what's coming next.
Connie, played by Robert Pattinson, is the person you avoid in life because you know everything is about him and once your use to him is done, he writes you off without a second thought.
His only redeeming quality is his misguided love for his brother. I can put myself in his place and that's what makes him relatable to everyone. It has you rooting for him to succeed even when you cringe watching the horrid choice he made.
Excellent film that I'll see more than once.
See this film; its the best movie I've seen in a long time ; good enough for me to pause and write a review.
Kudos to the Safdie brothers. Pure genius.
