While I suspect that a fair bit of this went over my head since I was not alive at the time this happened, it was still a fantastic film. And even though I was not a first-hand witness to McCarthyism (and how much does it suck that he was a WI senator?!?!), the theme of this movie was so very obviously an indictment of what's happened at Guantanamo Bay, and the culture of fear started by the Bush administration.
And in that regard, it was outstanding.
