Not at all what I expected. It came across like a movie directed by Sofia Coppola, a simple film with a simple and obvious meaning. The film was easy to watch and funny at times although I would not have labeled it as being a comedy as stated on the cover.
I felt that I did connect with Gary on some levels as i'm sure that most of us have had moments in our life were dreams are far more desirable than the reality. I do wonder how many of the views started to look at their hands and flick the light switches on and off before sleeping.
