Penelope Cruz in another lucid dream role? Humm, okay then.
The film tries to come across as a smart, dark comedy - but fails. Simon Pegg is fine, Martin Freeman and Penelope Cruz are both doing their job as best they can, but, the problem is: their characters are all lifeless and boring. Gwyneth Paltrow wasn't at her best either - being the most plain and lifeless of these plain and lifeless characters. Someone call the writers and ask them what they were thinking! 'Cus Martin Freeman does very well with what he's given .
