Review of Good Luck to You, Leo Grande (2022) by Mkeyts — 15 Jul 2022
A charming, unassuming movie with a peculiar yet moving story. The acting is super: there's a palpable, sweet chemistry remarkably achieved by both actors. I will take this pairing with me for as long as memory allow me to...
Some are quick to mention that it is a Covid production as if that alone can automatically limit the quality of a movie. It doesn't and it didn't: the restraints of that context gave the film simplicity and honesty, enough room for character development and a closeness to it's characters that is so ironically rare in the age of reality tv and social networks.
Heartwarming.
