It was made with good purpose, and provides a fascinating insiders look for folks like me, who are ignorant on the complicated process of black hair. I was especially flabbergasted by the segment on procuring hair in India; I had never thought about that before.
And bits like Chris Rock trying to sell black hair, with no success, are clever. Unfortunately, it falls short of the statement it's trying to make, and I find Chris Rock's voice annoying. Gotta give him credit for the exploration, though.
