Review of Good Hair (2009) by Vashawn T — 28 Jul 2010
A very funny, informative documentory on as aspect of african american female culture. The great thing about this film is the best humour comes from the people Chris Rock interviews (see Rev. Al Sharpton).
Another thing that stands out about this film is its great effort to be as unbiasced as possible. True it looks at theweave trade and what goes into hair products but also looks into the culture of the barbershop and hair salon and why it means so much to people.
would recommend others to watch.
