Review of Good Dick (2008) by Mariam C — 12 Sep 2010

I didn't like how their relationship wasn't explained. The main character never developed their relationship or expressed why he liked her. I could see having a crush, but after a certain amount of time I don't understand why he would be in love with someone who never let him in, at all.

And the girl is very unlikable and you empathize because you know something's wrong, but you never found out what. Maybe the director wanted it that way and there's a hint about the father, but her horrible personality isn't explained and that's hard to connect with.

At the end I wasn't sure how I felt about the movie..
