Review of Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) by Dallas S — 17 Mar 2008
Pretty sweet story - the characters are convincing, as is the whole storyline actually. I guess it's just about a son's devotion and love to his mother, and the lengths he'll go to to keep her well and happy.
Plus you get to imagine what it was like for the East Germans to have to abandon their socialist ideals and have to deal with capitalism and all it's ugliness (and freedom??).
