Review of Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) by Dan P — 01 Jun 2008
A very good maternal story during the collapse of the Berlin Wall. Based in Communist East Germany, it has a very authentic feel to the film, and is well acted by all, quirky humour helps make this film very watchable.
Ironically its written by a 'Wessie' decribing the 'Ossi.' the film does go on longer than it should, but overall its a brilliant piece of German Filmaking by Becker who keep numerous traits from his other films into this one.
