Review of Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) by John H — 22 Jul 2009
Somebody told me this was going to be a comedy. While there were definitely some cute amusing moments in the recreation of the expired socialist world, the gem of this film is in the simplicity of a son's love for his mother.
The story was unique and quirky, heartwarming and heartbreaking. The film is really well rounded and beautifully constructed.
