Review of Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) by Nat G — 14 Jun 2010
It's hard to know if this is meant to be a comedy or a serious drama film, it is very sensitive and has a lot of heart. If you are German, I think you would relate to this film a lot more as I don't really know my history, but it did make me want to go away and learn more.
The actor who plays Alex does a fantastic job, and the film shows a realistic broken family, who still have a lot of love for each other. There are many lessons to learn from this film, and is well worth a watch if you can get your head round the German.
