Review of Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) by Kelsey L — 14 Aug 2010
This is probably a great example of how some films do not fit into just one genre.
While the situation of the characters has elements of tragedy and a bit of dramatic flair - you cannot help but laugh at how hard his children worked in order to keep his mother happy and content. To think that they changed the decor of the house, the food, their jobs, and made their own versions of the news... it's actually ridiculous.
But this film is not. In fact, it's one of my favourite foreign films to date.
