Beautiful story about how this boy made everything to protect his mom of the tragic truth about the crisis of Communism in Germany. "Good Bye, Lenin" is a comic parable about coming to terms with the tumultuous and rapid socio-political change following the fall of the Berlin Wall.
It is a must-see film for anyone interested in the history of communism's rapid fall in Europe and the reunification of Germany.The acting by Katrin Sass was astonishing. Excellent. A "must-watch" movie.
I just would not say that it is a comedy like it is classified.
