Review of Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) by Mohamad A — 03 Aug 2011
I was born during the last days of the Soviet Union. And this movie replicates the beginning of a new era, and the struggle of many people who just wanted to keep up living. This movie is a nostalgic satire of Eastern Germany, with a deep critic about the new world that came afterwards.
The story about the deep love that a son has to his mother who is dealing with disease and a political comedy mixed perfectly. I can assure that when you finish watching this movie, you won't feel indifferent.
