Review of Good Burger (1997) by Movie G — 19 Apr 2013
As a fan of Nickelodeon, I thought this movie was great when I was younger. Every time it would come on TV, I would tune into every minute of it. I would have given it 6 stars out of 5(I loved it that much).
It get such a low rating from critics because all of the critics are adults! This is a kids' movie! I mean, not all kids' movies are bad, some are legendary,too(E.T., Disney movies, etc.), but the humor is geared toward kids! I think if you review a kids' movie should look at it through a kids' eyes, not an adults.
As for me? I loved as much, as I did when I was a little kid! The scenes were funny, the story line was interesting, and there was tons of action towards the end. It's a great film for the family; beware of some bad language(ass, hell), and Roxanne's desire to "get to know Ed better" and seductive appearance may seem a little edgy.
It's worth a rent, at least.
