"Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger! Can I take your order?" If these lines are not forever engraved in your mind after watching the movie, "Good Burger" directed by Brian Robbins, then you are in luck. The movie stars Kel Mitchell as Ed, and Kenan Thompson as Dexter, who are both employees of the Good Burger restaurant. After Mondo Burger (a new competitor) opens up across the street from Good Burger, Ed and Dexter have to devise a plan in efforts to save their employer along with their own jobs.

Although comical at times, the movie consistently utilizes crass humor, especially in regards to Ed, who is portrayed as an individual of low intelligence that often times is the butt of jokes. This production is also filled with a mixture of childish comedy and multiple less than politically correct themes. Many of the examples of childish comedy displayed throughout the film involve Ed's conversations with customers. One exchange with a customer plays out as follows:

Customer: "That's it! I am reporting your name to the manager".

Ed: "The manger already knows my name.

Customer: "And I'll see you in Hell!" [Leaves].

Ed: "Okay! See you there!".

This is just one of the many instances where such mindless humor is displayed.

With all of this being said, Brian Robbins should be credited for directing a very original and unique production in this movie. With the understanding that cinematography is often times unnecessary in comedies, camera work was not a major influence in this movie. Most camera angles are consistently straight forward and from a third person perspective. There is no need for uniquely presented scenes, which would only distract the viewers from the overall simple plot. The plot while simplistic, at least makes sense and the actors portrayed their characters in a convincing manner. Especially Kel Mitchell in his role as Ed, one of the two main characters. Although the humor behind Mitchell's role as Ed didn't cater to my tastes, he was the pinnacle of this film.

Overall "Good Burger" is a sub par movie considering its intended audience, and should not be displayed for children to openly view on a television network such as Nickelodeon. In no way should this film be intended for children or adolescents when looking at the type humor included throughout. It is an unintelligent movie that only merits a few chuckles due to the silly and often stupid antics of the actors.
