Review of Good Boys (2019) by Thatdanner — 12 Sep 2019
I found this movie to be a lot more lighthearted than its trailer implies. The movie is not nearly as vulgar as is suggested, though still quite a bit. The ending of the movie comes with a fantastic message for kids and teenagers alike.
Although not particularly a movie for kids, it harkened me back to the day that I was a kid through its fantastic representation of child life and struggles. The jokes are fresh and funny, along the lines of Superbad and other alike comedies.
The acting is also spot on for such young actors, they've done a fantastic job for what I assume is their first movie. I would recommend this to anyone that wants both a laugh and a few heartfelt moments, in line with Seth Rogen's signature style.
